    A magnificent place to visit if you are only in Dublin for a short time. It has medieval churches, Celtic High Crosses and Round Towers. Today the valley is heavily wooded.

    The photographer of this view is Robert French (1841-1917), who was chief photographer for William Lawrence's Photographic Studio in Sackville Street, Dublin. The National Library of Ireland hold the original glass negative in their Lawrence Collection, acquired in 1943 after the firm closed. - catalogue.nli.ie/Record/vtls000325656

I'm pretty confident the majority of the other Irish photochroms in the series will also turn out to be from the Lawrence collection.
