Reminds of all the stories back in the day of planes landing at Shannon Airport for refuelling and then being held because of fog. Limerick didn't have enough hotels so people could get sent out to Kilkee. Including Che Guevara! kilkee.clareheritage.org/people/che-guevara-in-kilkee
