    But the date written (very lightly) at bottom right is 12/3/20, indicating that this was taken no later than that date.

    Indicates the location as "Training quarters on the U.S.S. Granite State, North River at Ninety-seventh Street" and that Dempsey is sparring with Bill Tate. This would be training for his fight with Bill Brennan.
