    Thanks swanq, we'll update the catalog record. If anyone knows the name of the dog we'll be glad to add it to. Some quick searches seemed to indicate that Dempsey owned lots of dogs during his life.

    The description on Getty Images indicates that Estelle Taylor brought a Great Dane back from the trip to Europe. The dog she is holding certainly looks like a puppy, but I couldn't tell if it could be a Great Dane.
