    This is a fantastic picture of times past and farming practices long gone. Red raddle has been supplanted by dye markers and so on but this image tells a story of an ancient way of identifying your property. I love the stocks to hold the poor sheep while his backside is being burned. In the background the fleeces are being gathered having been sheared just before the branding! Wonderful image.
