Mrs. Julian Heath was the founder and president of the National Housewives League, New York, "organized to uphold the enforcement of laws which affect food supplies, the family health, the cost of living, and to bring about necessary legislation in these matters. The movement is educational, defensive and constructive." Mrs. Charles E. Griffin was the organization's secretary.

Mrs. Heath holds a copy of the Housewives' League Magazine, a sophisticated, illustated publication, which may now be read online.
