This is a surprising combination - the two men with P-G are wearing clothes from Georgia (or that part of the then Russian empire (and are not, I think, Cossacks) while the photograph subject info says this is Karelia, up near Finland. The trees look rightf for that part of the world but it seems surprising to see two men in native dress photographed in a region far from their presumed home, at least at that time.
