There appears to be a date at the bottom left of this photo. ??-7-16? I have a few other photos of the construction of the dam with dates apparently around this time which I'll upload when I get a chance.

Something not quite right here. The trusses and decking don't seem to exist on any other pictures of the wonderful Gundagai railway (and road) bridges (well worth a visit if you are nearby). I think this picture is of another bridge altogether, as are the two companion photos in State Records, investigator.records.nsw.gov.au/asp/photosearch/photo.asp... and investigator.records.nsw.gov.au/asp/photosearch/photo.asp... Ref. - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gundagai,_New_South_Wales#Bridges_o... So if is not Gundagai, I wonder where it is?

Apparently a new railway bridge opened in 1902, replacing an older one. There is also a view of the bridge by the Charles Kerry studio dated as 1875 - 1897 at the National Library of Australia which gives a wonderfully long view of the bridge.
