    The gents outfitters seen here John Colliers had a TV advertising jingle / slogan "John Collier, John Collier the window to watch" ! They had a factory in Middlesbrough (formerly Prices Tailors) now demolished and replaced with housing with the name remembered in the housing development being called "Colliers Green"

    Is that Manors Station at the bottom right of the photo? There's even less of it now if I remember right.

    Its hard to believe how big a part of the transport scene it was, I think part of it was used for a couple of scenes in 'Get Carter' . I need to get up to Newcastle again, I haven't visited for a while.
