    Found his obit in NY Times dated October 25, 1937. Lafayette Blanchard Gleason was Secretary of the Republican State Committee for 31 years, starting in 1906, and he was also General Secretary of seven Republican National Conventions. He passed away at age 74, he was born May 30, 1863. He was described as a political encyclopedia. He was also a lawyer who specialized in inheritance tax litigation. At his death he was a widower, his wife was Mrs. Frances Rich (Mc)Entee when he married her at Bridgeport, Conn in 1908, died in 1936. He had one son Gor(don?), by an earlier marriage.

    Now that's a challenge. Thanks to the wonderful baseball historians there are few unidentified people in the baseball photographs in this series.
