Lonergan it seems left to join his Family in the U.S.A. in 1914. Therefore, the photo is not 1915 or middle of front row is not Lonergan. Lonergan statement - BMH

Throughout these early pioneering years of the Fianna, Lonergan’s family frequently asked him to join them in the United States; despite his love of Ireland and his passion for the Fianna and the newly founded Irish Volunteers, these constant appeals eventually persuaded him in 1914 to ‘up sticks’ and leave his homeland to be re-united with his family in New York City. DannyM8 Think it is deffo Michael Lonergan, so before or during April 1914 then? Also interesting that he writes of the Houlihan brothers, rather than Holohan. I think I've seen Holahan as a spelling also.

Carol Maddock Carol Yes to the date range. I have seen this picture on other sites with the 1915 date.

Padraig Ryan is probably the Padriag O'Riain mentioned in the Fianna Eireann wiki article as being secretary.
