A warm enough day, and probably the summer season with the number of 'boater' hats. The full suits give a feeling of what it meant to be to be dressed properly at the time. Might have been early in the season with so few men in full summer dress with a boater and white pants.

Here's a story about the bank, from which it appears that it had begun in 1909 and was operated on an emancipatory footing: query.nytimes.com/mem/archive-free/pdf?res=9C02E7DF143AE6... It appears that the bank collapsed during WWI: query.nytimes.com/mem/archive-free/pdf?res=9D00E1DC1739E2... Could that possibly be an image of Napoleon at the top left of the photo?
