    Alfredo de Oro (1863?-1948) was a Cuban-born billiards player. In a championship career that began in 1887, he won the pocket billiards title 17 times and held the three-cushion billiards title ten times. He last participated in tournament play in 1934, at the age of 71. In 1967 he was inducted into the American Billiard Congress Hall of Fame.

    Please not EVERY man in this shot is wearing a waistcoat.
    The horizontal striped stockings are a bit much for my taste but then I never was one to follow the fashion of the moment.

    Hmm, St. Coulomb's is 1871 in the DIA, but may have been a bit earlier: The church was consecrated on April 16th, 1858, by Dr. Higgin, Bishop of Derry. The tower and spire were added in 1865 No help with dating, anyhow.
