The woman on the RIGHT* can't be Susan B. Anthony--she might be another Miss Anthony, but Susan B. died in 1906. *fixed on advice of Wystan.

That's Anna Shaw on the left . . . .

Whoops, yes, of course. I'm never good at left-right (don't give me driving directions or ballroom dance classes, it's hopeless). Should have double-checked myself. The woman on the left certainly is Anna Shaw! Now who's on the right?

Must be Florence Jaffray Hurst Harriman (1870-1967), wife of banker J. Borden Harriman (d. 1914). Mrs. Harriman was a major Wilson supporter, first president of the Women's National Wilson and Marshall Organization (named on the banner shown). She also cofounded NYC's Colony Club, served on the US Commission on Industrial Relations, directed the Women's Motor Corps in France during WWI, participated in the Versailles Peace Conference, and was the US Ambassador to Norway (1937-1940). Wilson , Marshal has his Vice President, was elected President in 1912 and re-elected in 1916. He was a supporter of woman's suffrage and played a key role in the passage of the 19th amendment.

Since Woodrow Wilson was a supporter of the woman's right to vote, many women supported his election.
