  beachcomber australia Hmmm, the women's clothing certainly suggests a date pre 1912, definitely post 1900 so c 1905 is a good guess. We have so many Anniversary Regatta photographs that all the flagships are melding into one. I feel like I've seen this vessel before.

I am going to vote for 1898, because in 1899 the KÖNIGIN LUISE was "moored off Neutral Bay" instead of previous years' courses near Lavender Bay.
