    Interesting how the embankment has little or no vegetation on it - unrecognisible now. Brett Oils is in full production too. The Brett Oils site remains largely unchanged since the day it closed. There are development plans which have been submitted to Gateshead Council and can be seen online if you're prepared to search for them - the potential development of this site looks fantastic. It's difficult to describe but does look very good.
