Thanks. This building has been transported to Carillon Park in Dayton. The historical society that manages Carillon Park has preserved many local treasures like the Newcom Tavern, that is pictured here. If you are in the area, Carillon Park is a great place to visit.

Photo taken after great Dayton flood of March, 1913. Newcom Tavern originally stood at the corner of Main and Monument Streets, but was moved to the levee in the 1930's when it was rediscovered under its clapboard siding and "restored." In the late 1960's the roof was temporarily removed and it was trucked two miles south of downtown to Carillon Park and reassembled and where it remains.
