    Not sure, but I can't see serial 129 anywhere. However on the underside there are visible what looks like to me the digits 29 which was "Adhara's" initial serial with the Coast Guard when delivered in 1932. Stig

    Adhara, name visible on the bow, was the only RD-2 in in USCG. In service from Jul32-Mar37, it carried at least 3 different serial numbers including 29, 129 and V111. I can't tell what it says under the hull either but there was only one Adhara.

    US Coast Guard Grumman UF-2G Albatross, USCG 7228 (ex- USAF Ser. No. 51-7228; c/n 310) is still extant. It is part of the aircraft collection at the New England Air Museum (NEAM) at Bradley Airport (BDL / KBDL), in Windsor Locks, Connecticut.
