    I am requesting your permission to use this photograph to help spread awareness of the atrocity that is child labor. My organization is called "A Living Wage for All" (stopslaveryandchildlabor.org) We are working to educate consumers on the issue of slavery and child labor and provide them with tools to shop only at companies that pay all workers in their supply chain a living wage. We believe quite strongly that this atrocity will only stop when everyday people like you, me and 7 billion other consumers STOP buying products that are made by slaves and children. Currently, there is no easy way for people to know if the products they buy have been made by slaves or children. We are working to provide that information.

    While we can't say for sure that the child in this image is making things for use by consumers in the first world we believe that this photo can serve to help educate more people on the human tragedy of child labor.

    I would like to use the photo on our website and in fund-raising mailings. If you also support the effort to eradicate slavery and child labor I believe that this image you have captured can help to stir others into taking concrete action to stop this scourge of humanity. I would very much appreciate the opportunity to display this photo, along with a caption approved by you and with full credit given to you.
