    Very evocative photo with the winter sun.
    No.6T was one of the ex Tralee & Dingle Railway locomotives, transferred firstly to the West Clare section after closure of the Tralee system in 1952, and finally moving to the Cavan & Leitrim in 1957 to deal with the increasing coal traffic from the Arigna mines. Its sister locomotive 5T is currently in a dismantled state in Tralee.

    This is the Narrow Guage Station of the Cavan and Leitrim Railway which closed on 1st April 1959. I would presume that it has changed quite a bit since then.

    This shot really caught my fancy with the curved descent to road level and then running beside the road, it is just so Irish, I love it!
