    I'm an Australian, and that does indeed look like a set of Kelly gang armour.. Here's an interesting article about the ship SUCCESS and the armour: glenrowan1880.com/success.htm It suggets that a replica copy of the armour was displayed on the ship, although it was purported to the viewing public to be genuine. Notably, some the LOC Bain collection photographs appear at that internet link.. The photographs appear oto have made their way there independent of the LOC.
