Enormous triplane bomber N-531:

"Six Liberty-engined triplanes, retroactively called Ca.42, were briefly operated from Taranto-Pizzone by the British Royal Naval Air Service with serials N526-N531. The Caproni Flight, as the new unit was called, was led by Squadron Commander R. Whitehead. The increased power cut climbing times in half while adding 500 kg of payload and raising the top speed by 15 km per hour."

"Stig Jarlevik 4y
This is RNAS final Ca.4 on loan. N531, and used by Northern Squadron, 6th Wing at Otranto.
Possibly even shot when it was delivered during the week ending on 26.1.1918.
Said to have been handed back to the Italians on 30.3.1918, but also said to have been on loan and used by RAF's 227 Sq at Pizzone until December 1918. Most probably, since RAF was formed on April 1st 1918, it was a papertransaction only.
