  Whoopee! I have been wondering what this place might have looked like . . . It is the old Benevolent Asylum at the corner of Pitt and Devonshire Streets at Railway Square, in what was then referred to as Redfern. Next to the OLD Redfern railway terminus. We are looking east with the old cemeteries behind and the Standard Brewery on Elizabeth Street.
