This sign says Motel but there is a Martha's Dandee Creme at 1133 U.S. 9, Queensbury, NY 12804 with a similar sign.

Queensbury's still "Lake George" to a lot of people. This is at the southern "pole" of the tourist area across from (what is now) Six Flags' Great Escape. North of here is the strip of factory outlets at the I-87/US-9/NY-149 intersection where the roads bringing people from Albany/NYC, Montreal and Vermont converge. North of *that* is Lake George itself. South of here are a few small attractions but you get pretty quickly into generic non-touristy suburbia of Glens Falls.

"The Santa Fe Diner is another Valentine diner. This one was originally installed in 1950 as the "Birth Place Diner" since it was located on the site of Winslow's first dwelling. At that point, there was a small stork on the roof and it was known as the Stork Cafe. The diner was also known as the "One Spot Grill". An awning and a canopy connecting it to the adjacent building were installed. Since this photo from 2004, the diner was moved to Sultan, WA." www.roadarch.com/diners/az.html It was here, and is now there.
