    LOC: the text on the wrapping is French, so it wasn't likely to be German chocolate. Incidentally, and rather sadly, it is doubtful if a chocolate called CIDA would sell in the French-speaking world today. It sounds too much like SIDA, which is French for AIDS.

    Wow! There's a Wonder Bread--bag rug hanging in the American Folk Art Museum in New York that I thought was sui generis. I guess not! Maybe Heloise hinted about clever things to do with plastic bags, and there are similar works in attics throughout America.
