  The Belmont Branch of the Richmond Pubic Library system was the first branch built after the Main Library. The branch is located at 3100 Ellwood Avenue in the Museum District of Richmond. The branch opened on October 25, 1956. It was expanded ten years later, with the expansion opening in 1966.

  The compression doesn't really affect this image much. Photographs this old can have a look about them that suggests compression, however, its just the condition of an almost 100 year old autochrome. :)
