    I believe this photo has been reversed ? the Catholic church in the foreground is southeast of the old muni auditorium and Polk Street in the background so this angle is very confusing, those grain elevators are far northeast of downtown.

    slartibart: We enlarged the .tiff version of this scan and the writing is displayed correctly so don't think the photo is reversed.
