Ben Rubenstein This photo was taken at the intersection of St. John's Place (running left to right across the frame of the photo) and 6th Avenue (the street these brownstones run along), looking to the southeast. The church steeple is that of Church of St. Augustine in Park Slope, Brooklyn (116 6th Ave, Brooklyn). The brownstone in the foreground is located at 146 6th Avenue. The brownstone and the neighborhood is looking much better these days... See: www.google.com/maps/@40.677543,-73.97653,3a,75y,297.9h,90...

Photoshop can lessen the extreme convergence. Although the typical idea is zero convergence, I always leave a bit.

Even better, a shift lens on an SLR. Even more better [sic] a view camera can eliminate as much convergence as you wish at the time of capture.
