    Are you taking sides in the forthcoming all Ireland NLI? The cats will be out to get you if they think you are. Fine body of men they are too. Look at the character on the right, an interloper if ever I saw one and look at the advert for Cantrell and Cochranes mineral waters in soda syphons, relics of auld dacency:-)

    You can see this landing stage on the OS 25" map, but I don't remember it, so it must have been removed not too long after this photo. This page (by Irish Ship and Barge Fabrication) states that the last barge sailed in 1961.
