    Per Wikipedia, HMS Vivid was the base ship at Devonport, Plymouth from 1912-20, so this sailor was serving at the barracks there.

    There's a Cullen family in 1901 in Ballyduff, but by 1911 they're now the Cullinanes. Bridget Cullen/Cullinane had 9 children, 5 living in 1911, but only a total of 4 turn up in the census. It's possible this is the "missing" one, or that he had died by 1911, and his mother was copying the photo later for some reason.
