I think this is the pointy end of the ship. Southerly breeze by the ferry smoke and the way the ships are facing. Sometime after 1932 (Harbour Bridge).

CREMORNE FERRY SERVICE.
The Cremorne ferry service, which has been disorganised during the past week, owing to the sinking of the pontoon at the Cremorne wharf, will be resumed to-day [7/1/1919].
The pontoon has been refloated, and a temporary structure, which will be utilised until the damaged one is repaired, was placed into position yesterday. -
