CREMORNE FERRY SERVICE.
The Cremorne ferry service, which has been disorganised during the past week, owing to the sinking of the pontoon at the Cremorne wharf, will be resumed to-day [7/1/1919].
The pontoon has been refloated, and a temporary structure, which will be utilised until the damaged one is repaired, was placed into position yesterday.

Hmm. Thinking this might be from Cremorne Point looking west-ish towards Kurraba Point (?)

The lighthouse was built in 1909 - lighthouses.org.au/nsw/robertson-point-lighthouse/
It is looking brand spanking new here; and it looks like the "mains electricity" mentioned in the site above, is not yet connected; no poles and wires.

[Aside] I drank a bottle of bubbly with a friend on the lower level back in the 1980s. Probably why access is prevented now!

A favourite spot 50+ years ago - a girl, a blanket, and just watching the world go by. There was a steel ladder down the cliff at that time, and access was easy. Surprisng how much activity there was on the Harbour at night.

I think this is the pointy end of the ship. Southerly breeze by the ferry smoke and the way the ships are facing. Sometime after 1932 (Harbour Bridge).
