Harry Bingham Brown (1883-1954), aviator, see Early Aviators. That site has the same photo. Edit: A NY Times article for 6 November 1912 discusses an aviation meet in New York, where Brown set a record. Another New York meet with Brown is mentioned in this article from 3 October 1913.

Brown, prior to his arrival back in US, had obtained Royal Aero Club Pilot # 109 August 1, 1911 Farman biplane Brooklands

Harry H. Brown Aero Club of America Pilot # 58 Sept. 7, 1911 During 1912 Brown flew from a private airport near Hicksville, Long Island , New York. ( Menendez Corner 4 miles east of Hempstead , Long Island, New York.) Brown also had F. Rodman Law make parachute drops from this aircraft during 1912. I believe this photo was taken at the flying field at Hicksville, Long Island, New York
