    This is the launch of the Holland-America Line's Statendam (H&W No. 436). She was built on the No.3 slip (where Titanic was built) alongside Britannic (No. 433). Like Britannic, she never entered civilian service. The British government requisitioned her as a troop transport, and she was renamed "Justicia."
