According to NYT, August 27, 1912 query.nytimes.com/gst/abstract.html?res=9A0CEEDA1630E233A... Keir Hardie Jr. was to be married on August 29, 1912, in Brooklyn to his childhood sweetheart from Scotland who had traveled to the States with her future father-in law. She was Marion (or Marian) Dalrymple Stoddart (or Stoddard) -- I found variant spellings in the NYT. Keir Hardie Jr. had been in business in Brooklyn for several years." So this is presumably after August 1912.

This is the Willard-Curtiss Banshee from 1910. In the pilot seat is Charles F. Willard. The man with the rifle sitting precariously on the edge of the wing is Lieut. Fickel. The powerful V-8 engine of 51 hp is clearly visible as is the top right wing aileron. In Curtiss built types ailerons were fitted between the wings.
