  I don't think those are dandelions. They look more like some sort of aster or mum to me. There is also some clover in there.

  Cassies grandma, I do believe you're correct. It looks very much like 'Orange Hawkweed' or 'Devil's Paintbrush'. And it either case it is... Hieracium aurantiacum. Dandelions seldom have multiple flowers as these have.

  For one brief, bizarre moment I thought this was a photo I took... mine is very similar compositionally, but it was taken 60 years later on a digital camera in an entirely different part of the world
