Considered at one time to be the largest diamond crossing in the world, the layout has changed considerably. The coast lines have been removed and replaced with The Metro, an underground railway system. The main routes remain together with the freight by-pass lines

That looks like the Douglas Hotel just prior to demolition. The shot has been taken from beside what was TSB on Clayton Street and Westgate Road crosses the picture just in front of the hotel.
