My first assumption was that this was Tumwater, Washington, just south of Olympia. But there is a Tumwater Creek that runs through the site of the park hq, which was built using CCC crews.

    Good question. We included all the information given to us by Jerry Williams, the man who collected/assembled the pictures (and the retired US Forest Historian), but in this case an exact location might be hard to determine... Unless someone recognizes the man in the picture!
