    The trawler doesn't look that big until you look at the size of the digger beside it. Even a small boat is much bigger looking out of the water.

In other news, the island was to get a fire service - equipment was to be provided and fishermen trained in its use. But the best good news story was Mrs Gallagher and her twin boys.
    Twins born 40 miles apart TWIN boys were born at the weekend in two different hospitals to the wife of a fisherman drowned in the Donegal trawler disaster in January. She is Mrs. Marie Gallagher, mother of five other children, who thought she was expecting only one baby. Her husband was Mr. Hugh Gallagher, one of the six drowned when the trawler Eveline Marie sank oft Rathlin O'Beirne island. Mrs. Gallagher was taken by open boat from Arranmore Island, off the Donegal coast to a mainland hospital at Dungloe. After delivering a boy, the doctor realised another child was on the way. Thirty-year-old Mrs. Gallagher was transferred to Letterkenny County Hospital 40 miles away. There. she gave birth to a second boy. Today mother and boys were reported to be "satisfactory." The twin who arrived first is still in Dungloe Hospital.
