Interesting - Looks like west Galway or South west Mayo, probably Connemara. Could the poser be an American and the N is missing or erased?

If it is Mayo, I would also put it in south west Mayo with those stone walls and the mountains. It looks like it's a view facing south or south west with the Connemara hills in the distance.

Not really much help with dating, the Cathedral of St. Eunan and St. Columba in the distance was built between 1890 and 1900, and opened in June 1901. See - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cathedral_of_St._Eunan_and_St._Columba
