trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/163683574/16777794 - a cropped oval version of this pic appeared in the Sydney Mail Annual on 13th October, 1906... The Sydney Mail's caption: 'On the Way to School'... The Sydney Mail also had a second pic showing the girl sitting on the horse with her ?father holding the bridle... It's not clear when/where these pics were taken...they don't appear to have had a connection with the story that appeared on that page...
