    Possibly taken on the Cayuga Inlet N.Y. If in fact it is from 6/13/13, the crew would be in "The Oaks" which was across the Hudson from Poughkeepsie, as they were preparing for a regatta on the 21st. I have listed for that regatta: Varsity Eight—Bow, L. Eddy; 2, E. S. Bates; 3, J. H. Munn; 4, W. W. Butts; 5, B. A. Lum; 6, B. C. Spransy; 7, L. Chapman; stroke, E. H. Dole; coxswain, M. L. Adler. Freshman Eight.—Bow, C. W. Bailey; 2, W. C. Cool; 3, J. H. Allen, jr.; 4, M. N. Shelton; 5, Q. A. Gillmore; 6, B. C. Duffie; 7, R. Wells; stroke, A. R. Gilman; coxswain, L. P. Rand.

NYT of June 15, 1913 query.nytimes.com/gst/abstract.html?res=9901E2D6143FE633A... lists varsity crews for the intercollegiate regatta at Poughkeepsie. For Cornell, it agrees with list from Bellbox.

Bellbox and swang: Thanks for the additional information. It appears likely based on your research and the NYT article that this photo relates to the intercollegiate regatta at Poughkeepsie in June of 1913. We will add the information to the source data and reload the description.
