Fort Worth Live Stock Show (LOC)

The building in this photograph is the Cowtown Coliseum (built in the winter of 1907-08 in 88 working days) on East Exchange Avenue in the Fort Worth Stockyards. It is still in use today, but not for the annual Livestock show. The Fort Worth Livestock Show moved to Will Rogers Coliseum in 1940 because it had outgrown this venue. The stock show has been there ever since. I am a former Stockyards tour guide who gave tours through this building. It's a beauty.
