    Ma Ma Creek War MemorialPrint Page Print this page The memorial was erected in 1920 for Fleurine Elsie Andrews in memory of her three sons who were killed in World War One. The front plaque bears a leaded ivy leaf motif, inscriptions and the names and details of the three Andrews brothers who lost their lives. The memorial is situated in the St Stephens cemetery, directly behind the Andrews family plot. Although privately owned, it is the focus of public ANZAC Day memorial services. Front Inscription In proud and loving memory of Pte. James Martin Andrews, Killed in action in France, 5th August 1916, aged 26 years. Also Pte. George Henry Andrews, Killed in action in France, 9th June 1917, aged 28 years. And of Pte. Bertie Reginald Andrews, Killed in action in France, 10th June 1918, aged 20 years.
