Holy Smoke! Designed by Augustus Welby Northmore Pugin (1812–1852). "Former Presentation Convent, Slievekeale Road. Designed 1841, constructed 1842-63. Some fittings and furnishings after 1852 by Edward Welby Pugin. Traditional monastic layout around a quadrangular cloister. Some minor modifications but essentially intact, including rood screen. Conversion of the convent (a protected structure) to a health centre by Waterford firm DHB Architects completed in May 2009." From - www.puginfoundation.org/irish_buildings/ (down the page a little). The Rood Screen must be behind the photographer.

Mad guess - it's a Pugin church or chapel, from the decoration ... Mr Whitehead also commissioned Mr Poole to photograph this different organ - catalogue.nli.ie/Record/vtls000590635 Edit - Mr W. Whitehead was an organ builder whose premises were at 33 The Mall, Waterford - next door to Mr Poole. See - catalogue.nli.ie/Record/vtls000590110

According to this similar photo catalogue.nli.ie/Record/vtls000592630, it's the Presentation Convent, Carrick-on-Suir, Co. Tipperary.

B-59 Good work there! The ceiling colour decoration is fantastic, with the benefit of modern lighting of course.
