    She probably bought the blocks with the designs already stamped on them. Such kits were popular, even through the 1960s. I have a State Flowers quilt my grandmother made from a kit.

    Nice bed quilt. I like the way the green and red sashing meets in a chequered arrangement between each block. Clearly not this lady's first quilt. Pity the sunlight is so bright that it obscures the detail of the bird blocks. Wonder if her family still has it?'Tis very possible.
