Most likely an iron smelter. To the right Cerro del Mercado where they extracted the metal from. Notice in the inferior left margin "MEXICAN INTERNATIONAL". This is a rail road company which used to run from Durango City to Piedras Negras (formerly Ciudad Porfirio Díaz), Coahuila, México, just across the border from Eagle Pass, Texas, USA. South to Piedras Negras there are several coal mining cities which most likely sended this mineral to burn and melt iron in Durango. Learn about this in books.google.com.mx/books?id=ATAHwcN2hhgC&pg=PA68&...
