    This photo (and another similar view from a slightly different angle) was actually taken during the fall 1901 inaugural season of the Great Western Sugar Company refinery at Loveland, Colo. The buildings were still under construction when the photos were taken, but beets were already being stockpiled. The cars had just been purchased for sugar beet service by the Colorado & Southern Railway.
