A wonderful online addition to our State's early history !

Only a guess, but it would have to be plying some portion of Port Hacking ? It would be great to get extra info about this ferry and in what years it operated ?

This is just so awesome, I wish this was still on our beloved Hacking River.

The "Bundeena" ended up in service at Port Arthur, Tasmania, for many decades from the 1980s. I don't know what's happened to her since. Currently the "Curranulla" is still in reliable service from Cronulla to Bundeena in the Royal National Park, having been first commissioned on May 12, 1939.

The Bundeena ran from 1946-1975 and was sold to Tasmanian interests after the Tasman Bridge was severely damaged by iron oar carrier "Lake Illawarra". the "Curranulla" was tje most used vessel even when the ."Bundeena " was still in service, her wight and dfaft could be a problam from to time !! The "Bundeena" has been on Sydney Harbour since 2002 👍⚓🇦🇺
