The sun., April 30, 1919, Page 14, 4th. column "Oscar T. Mackey of the Anglers' Club" indicates that he was active as a angler for a long time ago. It's most likely the same Oscar T. Mackey who was a builder until 1902 (see query.nytimes.com/mem/archive-free/pdf?res=F3071EFA355417...) and was a trustee of the Broadway Savings Institution (see New-York tribune., July 07, 1921, Page 18, advertising in the 6th column) He died in August 1921 (see New-York tribune., August 30, 1921, Page 9, 6th column). His name is there spelled as "Oscar P. Mackey", but he is described as member of the Angler's club and trustee of the Broadway Savings Institution, so I think it's the same man and the "P" is misspelled.
